Main interior compartment is large enough to store books and writing materials. Within the main compartment is a zippered pocket suitable for storing small items. Below the exterior flap is an additional zippered pocket for further storage and drawstring closure. Backpack's rear exterior has two adjustable shoulder straps, built through stitching and metal hardware. Top handle is attached to the bag with additional metal hardware. Side exterior has one pocket each side, with magnetic closure, for mobile devices, wattel bottles or other storage items. Front exterior has a large pocket with two easy to close magnetic buttons. Flap is closed with metal buckle.
